FC Halifax Town: Shaymen announce double swoop

Trialists Nathan Clarke and Jonathan Edwards have joined FC Halifax Town on permanent contracts.

Centre-back Clarke, 34, was born in Halifax and is a former Huddersfield Town captain, having spent 11 years with The Terriers. He was at Grimsby Town last season.

Edwards, a 21-year-old striker joins after being released by Hull City. He scored two goals in 14 games on loan at Woking last season.
