FC Halifax Town: Shaymen get Nantwich in semi-finals

FC Halifax Town will play Nantwich in the semi-finals of the FA Trophy if they get past Gateshead on Wednesday.

Town drew 0-0 with Neil Aspin’s Gateshead on Saturday at The Shay, and the two sides will meet again in a replay on Wednesday to decide who goes through to the last four.

Nantwich caused a huge upset with a 2-1 win over Dover Athletic in the quarter-finals.

They are ninth in the Evo-Stik Premier Division table, 10 points off the play-offs.
