Danns, who turns 38 later this month, made 24 appearances for Tranmere last season in League One, and joined Northern Premier League Premier Division side Radcliffe Borough last month.
He started his career at Blackburn and has commanded transfer fees totalling more than a million pounds in his career.
Danns played in the Premier League with Birmingham City and in the Championship for Crystal Palace, Huddersfield, Leicester and Bolton.
He has made nearly 600 appearances in senior football and has also won 17 caps for Guyana.
