FC Halifax Town: Shaymen sign former striker Tuton on loan
FC Halifax Town have signed former striker Shaun Tuton on loan from Barnsley until the end of the season.
Tuton joined Barnsley from Halifax on a two-and-a-half year deal in 2016 after scoring 12 goals for The Shaymen during the first-half of the 2015-16 campaign.
Since joining Barnsley, he has struggled to hold down a regular first-team place, and has been on loan at Grimsby and Barrow.
He went on trial to Motherwell last summer, and to Neil Aspin’s Port Vale in December, but failed to secure a move.
Aspin originally signed Tuton from Buxton in 2015.
