FC Halifax Town: Stockport friendly could be moved for England game
FC Halifax Town will move their home friendly against Stockport County next Saturday (July 7) to an earlier kick-off if England reach the quarter-finals of the World Cup.
The match is currently scheduled for a 3pm kick-off, but that would clash with a potential England quarter-final at the same time if they beat Colombia in the round of 16 on Tuesday, so The Shaymen will then play the Stockport match at noon instead.
The club will confirm the kick-off time of the friendly on Wednesday, depending on Tuesday night’s result.
