FC Halifax Town: Supporters raise nearly £30,000 in fundraising bid

FC Halifax Town supporters have raised £28,500 so far to help towards the cost of the club’s National League play-off campaign.

The club’s Project Play-offs initiative is trying to raise funds to be put towards the additional costs of competing in the play-offs during the COVID-19 pandemic, such as testing and various safety measures.

The Shaymen are due to face Boreham Wood away in mid-July for a place in the semi-finals against Harrogate Town.

They had set a target of raising £20,000, which has now been raised to £30,000, but that now also looks like being easily surpassed.
