FC Halifax Town go in search of their first win for 12 games when they host Barrow on Saturday (3pm).

Town could be without as many as NINE players for the game.

Winger Matty Kosylo will miss the game with an ongoing medial ligament injury, and is not expected back for the trip to Aldershot next Saturday.

Hamstring victims Ben Tomlinson and Nathan Hotte will also miss the match. Striker Tomlinson could return for the Aldershot game but utility man Hotte is expected to be out for the next four weeks.

Midfielder Connor Oliver, who also has a hamstring injury, is rated as 50-50 for Saturday’s game, as is Danny Clarke, who sustained a knee injury in last Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Eastleigh.

Goalkeeper Sam Johnson and defender Scott McManus will both miss the match through suspension.

Long-term injury victim Michael Duckworth will return to light training next week, but fellow defender Martin Riley is not expected back until January.

Midfielder Dan Batty has returned to Hull after his loan spell, but forward George Waring will remain at the Shay on loan from Tranmere until January 6.

Manager Billy Heath is hoping to extend the loan deals of Hull defender Josh Clackstone and Port Vale midfielder Harry Middleton.

Only bottom club Solihull have lost more away games in the division than Barrow, but they have won three of their last five matches.

Former Forest Green and Gillingham boss Ady Pennock is Barrow’s third manager of the season after the club parted company with Paul Cox in August and then his replacement Michael Moore also left in October, less than a month after signing a two-and-a-half year contract.

Striker Byron Harrison scored 19 goals for them last season and already has six to his name this campaign.

Halifax have conceded 14 goals in their last five matches and have only one clean sheet in their last nine outings.

Their last win came against Bromley on September 23, have not won in their last six home outings and have only collected five points from the last 33 available.

Town drew 0-0 at Barrow back in August.
