Manager: Neal Ardley. The former AFC Wimbledon boss was appointed at County in November 2018 but was unable to prevent relegation from League Two during the 2018-19 season. Guided the club to third in the National League last season before losing to Harrogate in the play-off final.

Position: 12th

One to watch: Kyle Wootton. The former Halifax loanee already has four goals from his first six matches this season after netting 13 league goals last term, including three in the two games against The Shaymen.

Match facts: This will only be County’s second game in the space of a month due to Covid-related postponements.

Halifax have also only played one game in just under a month due to coronavirus outbreaks disrupting their fixture schedule.

Town have only scored once in their last five matches.
