Chris Millington's programme notes
"I am confident we will have a successful season come May 2024, there will be challenges and difficult days along the way but we all have a part to play in what I believe will be a really good year for the club."
Chris Millington's programme notes
"We're seeing some really positive developments in our possession and the creation of goal scoring chances is very encouraging and as is always the case we continue to look like a gritty determined team out of possession."
Chris Millington's programme notes
"This is the 5th game changing decision we have been on the wrong end of this season, as confirmed by feedback from the authorities. Obviously this isn't something that can be rectified retrospectively but we hope our share of these poor decisions is now spent and that we won't suffer any more for the rest of this season."
Chris Millington's programme notes
"Those who attended the (Maidenhead) game will have witnessed the challenge on Max Wright in the 68th minute which should have resulted in a penalty. This was confirmed when we asked for feedback on the decision from the authorities. Had that penalty been awarded the offending Maidenhead player would surely have received a second yellow card which would have taken the game into very different territory."
Chairman's programme notes
"It is no secret we that we have a lot of injuries at the moment and the list certainly feels like there's a new one joining it every week. Hopefully we can begin to enjoy more positive news on that front soon, with Luke Summerfield and Tylor Golden back on the bench last Saturday and hopefully Rob Harker, Jamie Cooke and Festus Arthur available for selection sooner rather than later."
Chairman's programme notes
"Last week was certainly a disappointing result at Maidenhead, especially as the performance warranted more. On the one hand a blank weekend can arguably be a chance to rest up weary limbs and overcome silly injury niggles, particularly given our very long injury list, but most players will tell you they want to keep playing when they are winning."
Thoughts
Town looking to get back on the horse straight away after last weekend's disappointing defeat at Maidenhead. Halifax didn't deserve to lose but did they deserve a win? Probably not. Wealdstone won't make it as easy as last season in the same fixture I'd have thought - can't see another 5-0. Stuart Maynard is doing a really good job at the club, a good manager at this level. As for Town, would have thought it'll be the same again - if there is a change likely to be Golden for Wright at RWB
