Captain Niall Maher not involved due to injury, he’s replaced by Pierce Bird, who makes his first start for Town and his first start at all since the end of January. Luke Summerfield also out injured, replaced by Kian Spence. Martin Woods back on the bench, along with Jamie Cooke for the first time.

There’ll be no Josh Staunton for the visitors this afternoon as he’s out injured for the rest of the season

Michael Barlow sent-off Jack Senior in Town’s 1-1 draw at Notts County in February. That was his only red card in five National League games this season, in which he has shown 15 yellow cards. This is his first season officiating in the fifth tier. He also took charge of Halifax’s FA Trophy game at Alfreton in January, which Town won on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

Yes, Yeovil are coming off the back of a brilliant win over leaders Stockport but it’s some record they’re up against today. Town have won 16 home league games this season, two more than anyone else in the league. And they’ve only conceded 10 home league goals this season - only Boreham Wood can equal that. Town will seal a play-off place if they win and I would fancy them today. Doubts over Niall Maher’s fitness, but other than that Town could well be unchanged

Halifax have only beaten Yeovil once in four league meetings at The Shay - that was back in 1997 when some bloke called Horsfield scored a hat-trick

Halifax are unbeaten in their last eight home games, keeping six clean sheets
