FC Halifax Town: Wild hints at where he could strengthen his squad

FC Halifax Town boss Pete Wild says he will be narrowing down his list of transfer targets over the next few days with a view to strengthening his squad.

“We’ve got a list so over the next few days me and Chris (Millington) will break that down into targets we’re after,” he said.

“If the budget is available to get the targets we want in, then great, if not, then we’ll have to look at other options.”

When asked what area of his squad he may look to strengthen, the Town boss added: “We haven’t really got any cover at left-wing back if Danny Williams was to get injured.

“We’ve moved Niall Maher into the back three so that gives us only three central midfielders, so they may be possible areas we’ll look at to try and strengthen.”
