Rob Brown

Man of the match - Jacob Hanson. Jacob was one of the few players to put in a decent performance on a poor afternoon for the Shaymen.

Moment of the match - 47th minute. Aldershot scored for the third time in the game. The goal was completely avoidable and sealed the points for the home side.

Moan of the match - Aldershot weren’t a great team, it was yet another missed opportunity for the Shaymen to earn some valuable points. It was far too easy for the home side.

Kit Walton

Man of the match - I am usually impressed with our defence, but it leaked shockingly at Aldershot. Up front, Dayle Southwell tries hard every match, even though he hasn’t a lot of support. He was unlucky not to score today, so I’ll give him my award.

Moment of the match - The seventh minute, when we were opened up with alarming ease. Aldershot realised we were there for the taking, and it set the scene for a difficult afternoon.

Moan of the match - Last week I bemoaned Sam Johnson for punching a ball he should have caught. It cost us a goal then, and it cost us another this week. Also, anyone who watches Town at the moment can see that we are wide open down our left hand side. Ryan Sellars is isolated, as the forward on that wing doesn’t appear to know how to track back to assist. At least Brown and Kosylo are available next week.

Man of the match - Jordon Preston never gave up running and chasing the whole 90 minutes. Shame some of his team mates don’t have the same work ethic. Southwell also put in a good shift.

Moment of the match - Why Sam Johnson chose to punch that ball leading to the third goal is beyond me, that was a game changer. Heads went down after that.

Moan of the match - Now we are full time it seems that some players are simply here to pick up a wage. On another note, why Odelusi was still on the pitch after 90 minutes is a mystery.
