Town boss Neil Aspin is eagerly anticipating England C’s game aginst Estonia under 23s at the Shay on Tuesday (7.30pm kick-off, free admission).
The Halifax boss could have two of his players involved in the match, with Marc Roberts and Matt Pearson both in the squad.
Aspin said he is looking forward to the game and that it will be a great occasion to have an international fixture at the Shay.
He said: “It’ll be nice to have the game here.
“It’s an England game, it doesn’t matter what the level is, it’s still fantastic to have a game here.
“Hopefully we see some good quality but it’s a game I’m looking forward to watching.
“It’s a chance to see players in our league playing in a national team and I’ll be able to watch a game where there’s nothing at stake for us.
“Hopefully it’ll be enjoyable.”
