Defender James Bolton has made his move to FC Halifax Town permanent after a successful loan spell last season.

The 20-year-old came back to the Shay for a second loan spell during the second-half of last season, making 14 appearances and scoring once.

Bolton is Town’s sixth new signing this summer following the arrivals of Richard Peniket, Scott Boden, Ross Dyer, Kevin Roberts and Steve Williams.
