Fans of FC Halifax Town will catch their first glimpse of the club’s new signings when they face Brighouse tomorrow.

The Shaymen make the short journey to the Dual Seal ground for their first pre-season game of the new campaign.

Manager Neil Aspin said he would use the game as an opportunity to give all members of the squad a run out.

“Depending on exact numbers I’m hoping to be able to change most of the team around at half time so we can have a look at everyone,” he said.

“Everyone who is training with us at the moment will be involved and probably only one or two will play 90 minutes.

“We’ve had three training sessions now since we came back for pre-season and this is the first chance the players have had to get out there on the grass and get a touch of the ball.

“We’ve played Brighouse a few times now and they’re a club which has improved over the last few years and they’re trying to push forward too,” he said.

The game will kick off at 3pm, with admission £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
