Rob Brown

Man of the match - Jacob Hanson. No other player came close to winning the award this week. He ran riot down the right hand side and created chances we should have scored from.

Moment of the match - 69th minute. Matty Kosylo scored in front of the noisy South Stand to give the Shaymen the lead. It was a good goal and created a great atmosphere.

Moan of the match - 74th minute, a streaker came out of the crowd and ran the full length of the pitch far faster than most of our forwards. Perhaps the most memorable moments of an uninspiring afternoon.

Man of the match - Jacob Hanson played a lot further forward than usual today; almost as a winger. It was a good ploy, but he needs to learn how to play there quickly. He still did enough to be the star player.

Moment of the match - With incredible foresight, Town’s website match preamble referred to “unwanted streaks”. Amazingly, our streaker ran the full length of the pitch and disappeared into some bushes before a single Steward reacted! Regarding the footie, Kosy’s goal was the one excellent moment in another spluttering performance.

Moan of the match - Not for the first time this season, a substitution meant to bolster the defence backfired on us, with Chesterfield equalising before we’d even sorted out the new formation. By the way, where was Matty Brown? A lack of sensible communication left many fans suggesting they were being treated with contempt.

Man of the match - Jacob Hanson shows he has class and skill on the pitch but sadly is one of only a few and his excellent crosses into the box are being wasted.

Moment of the match - Kosylo’s goal was just what the match needed, he kept his cool when rounding the keeper to put the shaymen in front.

Moan of the match - Choices by the manager regarding substitutions are still a mystery, trying to protect a 1-0 lead is a very dangerous game. Lack of communication between the club and fans is also frustrating, are our players injured or not being picked for another reason, it would be good to know what is going on.
