FC Halifax Town’s FA Trophy game at home to Chester has been moved back 24 hours to give it a better chance of going ahead.

The third round tie was postponed on Saturday due to a waterlogged pitch and will now be played on Wednesday, February 10 (7.45pm).

It was due to be played tomorrow night (Tuesday) but due to the pitch still having standing water on it, the two clubs have agreed to give the game the best chance of going ahead by putting it back by a day.

The winners will face a home tie against Neil Aspin’s Gateshead on February 27.
