FC Halifax Town fans have been giving their reaction to the departure of manager Billy Heath from The Shay.
It was announced last night (Wednesday) that Heath had left the club after one-and-a-half years at the helm.
He leaves Halifax 19th in the National League, four points above the relegation zone after guiding them to promotion from the Conference North last season.
Mark Houghton on Facebook said: “Glad he’s gone. 2 wins out of 19. Hope Town will move on and stay in the league.”
Peter Colgan on Facebook said: “Not disappointed, nor is it a shock. Just a month later than expected.”
On Twitter, Tim Rushton said: “One dimensional and out of touch with the modern game. If they expect supporters to pay top whack, supporters can expect to be entertained.”
Craig Brennan on Twitter said: “The guy looked done in half way through 2nd half like he knew he couldn’t do anything, he’d given up, start by getting your best players in the most important positions, some decent players there when they get set up alright.”
