FC Halifax Town will aim to bounce back from their first defeat of the season on Monday when they host Harrogate Town (3pm).

Town are fifth in the National League North after their defeat at Fylde, which put them top on goal difference ahead of second-placed Harrogate.

Harrogate beat Nuneaton 3-1 at home on Saturday for their fourth win in six games.

They started with a 2-2 draw at Worcester before beating Boston 2-0 at home, drawing 2-2 with Altrincham and winning 2-0 at Gainsborough and 3-2 at Bradford Park Avenue.

Ex-Town defender Simon Ainge is among the ranks at Harrogate, and has already scored this season in their draw with Altrincham.

Former Grimsby striker Jon-Paul Pitman is their top-scorer with four goals.

Midfielder Wayne Brooksby played under Billy Heath at North Ferriby last season and scored in their play-off final win over Fylde.

Right-back Cliff Moyo sits out the final game of his three-match suspension, while loanee Keil O’Brien could feature from the start after Heath said he was considered for a full debut at Fylde.
