FC Halifax Town have signed 22-year-old forward Jordan Preston from Gateshead.
Preston scored five goals in 43 appearances for Gateshead last season after joining from Guiseley, where he scored seven goals in 43 games during the 2016-17 season.
The former Blackburn Rovers academy player also scored 12 goals while on loan to Ayr United in 2015-16.
Town boss Jamie Fullarton said: “Jordan’s attributes and strengths mean he will fit seamlessly into how we are looking to play in the coming season.
“As a teenager he regularly played for Blackburn under 21s against teams I coached and caused problems for the defence, so to see him develop physically to be able to now have the same impact in men’s football, means he is a great addition to the squad we’re building and will compliment and supplement the other attacking players we have signed and re-signed.”
He becomes the fourth new face at The Shay this summer after goalkeeper Shaun Rowley, winger Sanmi Odelusi and striker Daryl Southwell.
