FC Halifax Town thumped Brighouse Town 7-1 in their friendly clash at St Giles Road.
Striker Dayle Southwell struck a first-half brace, with fellow new signing Cameron King also on the scoresheet before half-time.
Brighouse’s Gabriel Johnson had briefly restored parity for the hosts, but Town ran away with the win in the second-half, with Jordan Preston and Mekhi McLeod among the goals, with the other two coming from a trialist.
