Forward Tom Denton, midfielder Danny Clarke, defenders Josh Wilde, Cliff Moyo and Martin Riley and goalkeeper Tom Nicholson have all left FC Halifax Town after their contracts expired.
Denton was Town’s top scorer as Town earned promotion to the National League last season under Billy Heath, but has found first-team opportunities limited under Jamie Fullarton.
Denton, Wilde, Nicholson and Clarke all played for Heath at North Ferriby.
Centre-back Riley has only played three times for Halifax this season after sustaining a serious injury at the start of the campaign, while Moyo has also been in and out of the side since Fullarton was appointed.
Denton has since said on Facebook: “Just like to say a massive thank you to every single one of you for the support over the last two years. Told you we’d get you back up! Good memories and hopefully you will be successful in the coming seasons! Dents.”
