Former Town boss Neil Aspin will bring his current club Port Vale to The Shay for a pre-season friendly on Tuesday, July 17 (7.45pm).
Aspin joined Halifax from Harrogate in 2009 and led the club to three promotions into the National League.
He was sacked by Halifax in September 2015 after a disastrous start had left them in the relegation zone with just five points from their first 10 games.
Aspin then had a spell as Gateshead boss before taking over at Port Vale in October 2017, where he was a player for 10 years, and guiding them to safety in League Two last season.
Town have already confirmed they will host Stockport in a friendly on Saturday, July 7 (3pm).
