FC Halifax Town play their rearranged FA Trophy game against Macclesfield at the Shay on Tuesday night (7.45pm) aiming to build on their first win in 13 matches last time out.
The Shaymen recorded a superb 1-0 win at Aldershot just over a week ago thanks to Scott McManus’ goal.
That was their first win since beating Bromley on September 23 and only their second clean sheet in 11 outings.
Macclesfield are top of the National League and have won eight out of 13 away games in all competitions this term.
Top-scorer Scott Wilson has 10 goals in 23 appearances this season - including four in his last three matches - and scored twice for Eastleigh against Halifax in the FA Cup last season.
John Askey’s side, who were runners-up in the FA Trophy last season - have won three and drawn three of their last six games and enjoyed an impressive 4-1 home win over Wrexham in their last match.
The Silkmen have the best away record in the division this season, while no other team has conceded fewer away goals in the fifth tier.
Striker Tom Denton is available again after serving a one-match ban and manager Billy Heath says there are a “few chances” of players on a lengthy injury list returning. Winger Josh Macdonald (pictured) and striker Ben Tomlinson appear the most likely candidates.
