Since drawing with Halifax, Morecambe have lost 1-0 at home to Sunderland in the Football League Trophy, and won 1-0 at Forest Green Rovers in the league thanks to Aaron Wildig’s late winner.

That result was Forest Green’s first home league defeat of the season, and leaves Morecambe in 19th place in the table, with 20 points from 18 matches.

Jim Bentley’s side are unbeaten in their last five away matches, and have won three, lost three and drawn two of their last eight outings.

Halifax will be without the suspended Joe Skarz for the game, meaning fellow left-back Ryan Sellers is likely to replace him.

Morecambe will be without injured defender Zak Mills, who started the first game with Halifax.
