Boss Neil Aspin, whose side entertain Mansfield tomorrow, is still waiting for a decision on whether striker Lee Gregory will require surgery to cure a knee problem.
The Town striker’s joint locked in training eight days ago and he was forced to miss the friendly against Scunthorpe last weekend.
“Lee Gregory went for a scan on the knee after training on Tuesday and we are waiting for the results,” he said. “No decision has yet been made on whether he will need an operation.”
Aspin could have the results of the scan by the time Town face Gregory’s former club Mansfield in their second home pre-season game tomorrow.
The Shaymen have won three out of three warm up games as they prepare for life in Blue Square Bet North.
