Town boss Neil Aspin says in-form striker Lee Gregory is going nowhere.
Gregory is the Shaymen’s top-scorer with 13 goals and his man-of-the-match performance against Aldershot on Saturday was watched by Bradford boss Phil Parkinson.
But Aspin says Gregory is under contract until the end of next season and the club is not under any pressure to sell their star forward.
The Town boss said: “He loves being in that six-yard box, but his general play has improved, he runs the channels and his goals are what take they eye.
“He’s a player that’s here for the season and he’s got a contract for next season.
“We want the club to push forward and to do that you need to keep your best players, and he’s certainly one of them.
“We’re not under any pressure regarding Lee but he’s got better and better as he’s come through the leagues and I rate him extremely highly.
“He’s also popular with the other players because they know what ability he’s got and he works hard.”
