FC Halifax Town and Forest Green Rovers have both been fined and warned about their future behaviour after their mass brawl at the end of the match at the Shay in December.

Having been charged by The Football Association for a mass confrontation, both clubs have been sanctioned by an Independent Regulatory Commission who looked into the brawl.

The charge against FC Halifax Town was found proven, with a fine of £1250.

The charge was admitted by Forest Green Rovers, with a fine of £2000.

Each club was severely warned as to its future conduct.

In separate sanctions, three Forest Green Rovers players received match suspensions which related to violent conduct and remarks made to a match official.

Both club fines are subject to a right of appeal, whereas player suspensions imposed have already been served,
