FC Halifax Town have confirmed the loan signing of defender Matthew Pearson from Rochdale until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old defender joined Dale after his release from Blackburn Rovers and has made 9 appearances for the League Two side.

Pearson’s loan covers any play-off games at the end of the season, and he will be available for the visit of Worcester City tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the club also confirmed their postponed home game against Harrogate Town will now be played on Thursday, March 7 (7.45pm kick-off), meaning The Shaymen will play three games next week, including the visit of Hinckley on Tuesday and the trip to Solihull Moors next Saturday.
