FC Halifax Town and adidas are delighted to announce a deal that will see the worldwide sportswear giant become the club’s official technical kit supply partner for next season starting from 1st July 2014.

The partnership means adidas will provide a full range of kit next season for the Shaymen, from community and youth through to first-team level, covering playing kit, training kit match day kit. Also, they will be supplying replica kit, associated sportswear and leisurewear items carrying the FC Halifax Town branding.

The agreement sees Town and adidas working together for the first time in the club’s history.

“We’re delighted to be working with adidas, one of the biggest names in sport,” said Town Chairman David Bosomworth.

“They have a proven track record in producing quality sportswear and having spoken to Neil and other staff, they’re looking forward to wearing next season’s new kit. We have agreed a one year deal with other options, so we will see how the relationship works for us. This will complement a new series of retail initiatives soon to be announced”

“We’ll be confirming the pre-order and launch dates soon for both replica kits and the new training wear package.”

Meanwhile, midfielder Paul Marshall has agreed to stay with the Shaymen for the 2014-15 season.

He joins Matt Glennon, Adam Smith, Scott McManus, Marc Roberts, Matt Pearson, Lois Maynard, Simon Ainge and Josh Wilson in signing terms with Neil Aspin’s side.

Marshall joined the Shaymen in 2012 when Town were in the Blue Square North establishing himself as regular in the team. However he opted to leave for Conference Premier side Stockport County in February 2013 but re-joined the Shaymen last summer following the Hatters relegation.

He has previously played for Blackpool, Port Vale, Aberdeen, Walsall, Rochdale and Droylsden as well as both Ireland U19’s and England Under 20’s.
