Free-scoring Harrogate Railway stunned third placed Droylsden with a thrilling come-back to earn a shock 4-3 win in Evo-Stik First Division North at Station View.

Droyslden took the lead on 19 minutes through Cairin Kilheeney but Railway continued their record of scoring in every game to immediately level with Nathan Cartman notching his 12th league goal of the campaign.

Rob Youhill’s low cross was then turned into his own net by Alex Frost but on 33 minutes the visitors restored parity through striker Ben Deegan.

Shortly before the break Kilkeeney slotted home a penalty to put the away side ahead.

Undeterred, Railway fought back bravely in the second period and the league’s top marksmen Cartman grabbed his second to draw level again - with a back heel from Youhill’s cross.

And with the final whistle approaching, Malachi Farquhason rounded the Droyslden keeper from a poor back pass to clinch the winner.

Goals from George Bissett and striker Carl Stewart took Tad to a fourth straight win and their 13th in the 15 games this season.

In Division One, Knaresborough Town slipped to 15th following a 2-1 defeat at home to AFC Mansfield, Liam Gray scoring a wonderful opener for Town.
