Fylde knock Shaymen off top spot after draw with Salford

AFC Fylde moved to the top of the Conference North last night (Tuesday) after drawing 3-3 at home to Salford.

Fylde, who host Halifax on Saturday, led 2-1 at half-time, but required a 90th minute equaliser from former Town defender Steve Williams to salvage a draw.

But sixth-placed Darlington will go top tonight (Wednesday) if they beat seventh-placed Chorley, who could go top themselves, but would need to win convincingly.
