If you gave me the choice of winning tonight or winning at Alty on Boxing Day, I think I’d probably plump for three points at Alty. That’s not to denigrate the FA Trophy, as getting to Wembley is an unforgettable experience and there’s no reason why Town can’t win both their next two games. But in the grand scheme of things, I don’t think any Town fans would put the competition higher in their list of priorities than maintaining the momentum in the league

Line up will be interesting tonight. Would have thought CM will treat it as if it’s a league game and take the opportunity to give everyone some much needed game time having had two weeks off. The WRCC game against Albion Sports is due to be played tomorrow so would also have thought whoever doesn’t get decent minutes tonight will play in that. Kian Spence and Angelo Capello were doubts for this game had it been played on Saturday so they could well be missing, in which case I would have though Luke Summerfield and Jack Senior would replace them as stright swaps.
