Halifax AFL: Battle to beat the drop is hotting up in Premier Division

That saw them climb off the bottom on goal difference. Next up for the Rams is a trip to Shelf United who had their five game winning run ended in their last outing.

In the First Division AFC Crossleys can clinch promotion and edge ever closer to the title with a win against next to bottom Midgley United Res.

Only one defeat all season has put Ryburn United in a strong position to gain at least promotion. They should extend their impressive record when they take on Northowram Res.

Two sides on the fringe of the promotion places meet at Calder 76 where St Columbas are the visitors. Both sides have been in good form with Calder 76 striker Remi Allen in eye catching form.

Ivy House lead the way in the Second Division but could face a tricky encounter against Calder 76 Res.

Title favourites Hebden Royd Red Star Res travel to Natty Lane for a meeting with St Columbas Res and should add another three points to their tally.

Flying Dutchman should continue their fine season with a win at Greetland Res whilst Sowerby United Res will be hoping to end their poor run of form at Warley Rangers.Two sides in great form meet when Sowerby Bridge Res take on Shelf FC Res.
Elland United and Hebden Royd Red Star will have a fourth attempt to play their first round Challenge Cup game with the winners earning a second game against AFC Crossleys.

In the delayed second round game Denholme United have home advantage against Sowerby Bridge. If the two league games are anything to go by this will be a very close affair.
