Halifax-born footballer Paddy Lane has been named as League One Young Player of the Year

Lane plays for Fleetwood, and his award completes a remarkable season for the winger, who also made his international debut for Northern Ireland earlier this year.

The 21-year-old, who has been linked with a move to West Ham, was a part-time non-league player before joining Fleetwood, where he has established himself as a first-team regular, making 38 appearances and scoring five goals.
