The Women’s National League Division One North match proved to be a close-fought one but Farah Crompton netted against her former club to earn all three points for the hosts.
Crompton’s 11th minute strike secured a third straight win for Halifax, who lie third in the table, only three points adrift of leaders Leeds United.
Courier photographer Bruce Fitzgerald was at The Shay to capture all the action from Halifax’s landmark game.
