Holders head to Midgley

Last season’s league and cup winners Elland United face a tricky test in the last 16 of the Halifax AFL’s Skircoat Green Physiotherapy Challenge Cup.

Paul Bradbury’s side, who have had a mixed start to their 2012-13 campaign, must travel to Midgley United on Saturday, October 27.

Midgley won Division One last season and they have made a highly-promising return to the top flight as well as winning away to last season’s league runners-up Warley Rangers in the first round of this competition last weekend.

Last night’s draw also paired last season’s third-placed club Ryburn United with current leaders Stump Cross.
