Leaders Brighouse draw again

Brighouse Town's lead at the top of the Evo-Stik NPL's first division north table is down to a single point after they were held 1-1 at home by Ossett Albion today.

It was a third draw in their last four matches.

Third-from-bottom Albion took a shock lead on 37 minutes through James Eyles.

However, Ruben Jerome equalised two minutes after the break and it was stalemate from then on.

Scarborough Athletic went second with a 1-0 home win over Clitheroe.

Brighouse’s next game is at home to seventh-placed Lancaster City next Saturday.
