Mouth-watering clash in prospect as Cock and Bottle travel to Linthwaite

Cock & Bottle travel to fellow title chasers Linthwaite Hounds in a mouth-watering Premier Division clash.

Both sides got their campaigns off to winning starts last weekend, Jordan Coduri sealing the win for Cock & Bottle as they turned things around at home to Clifton Rangers. Whereas Linthwaite Hounds ran riot against Hollins Holme down in Hebden Bridge, beating them 8-1 with Courtney Allette scoring a hat-trick from the bench.

Halifax Panda face another newly promoted side this weekend after they beat Park FC last Sunday. They’ll travel to Ravenswharfe who will be hoping to get their first points of the season and Sam Hewitt carrying on his goal scoring run from last season will give them a good chance of doing just that.

A brace from Joshua Hiley saw Feathers pick up a comfortable win to start the season and they’ll be looking to make it two wins from two when they head to Leeds Road to face Clifton Rangers.

Park FC host Hollins Holme as both sides look to get off the mark. Marshall Getty got the consolation for Park FC last weekend, whilst Benjamin Barker scored late on for Hollins Holme in the first weekend.

Battyeford will look to build on their opening win in Division One after Jonny Mitchell scored four against Woodhouse.

They face Clifton Rangers Reserves, who picked up their first point on Sunday against Wire Works, who will need to keep it tight against free-flowing Wellington Westgate. Confidence will be high for the visitors in what is sure to be a cracker.

Elsewhere in Division One, Ryburn Valley look to keep hold of their early top spot when they visit newly promoted Spen FC. A hat-trick from Scott Hibbert last Sunday will surely have him starting this weekend.

Old Pond travel to Calderdale College to take on Halifax Panda Reserves as they both look for their first win of the season, and Sands Lane will host Woodhouse in what could be a feisty encounter.

Triangle beat new boys Needless Inn 10-0, with Reece Kendall bagging four goals, last weekend, and face Lewins FC, formerly known as Old Post Office, who were beaten 3-2 last weekend by Athletic FC, also formerly known as Snowdon.

Queens Head FC will look to build on an impressive start last weekend before their game got abandoned.

Pellon Social host former Heavy Woollen side Mount Pleasant as they both try keep their winning start going and Needless Inn welcome Inter Batley to Hembrigg Rec.
