Pontefract Collieries v FC Halifax Town LIVE

ICYMI - Pete WIld’s thought on this afternoon’s game

You can just feel it’s such a big day for the hosts today. Average crowd of between 200 and 300 is going to be absolutely smashed today. Brilliant for them to have such a memorable day. Hopefully it’s not a memorable day for The Shaymen for all the wrong reasons. Looking at the Town team, they should comfortably have enough quality to win the game. But this is the FA Cup, it’s had a few upsets down the years

Upset on the cards?

Tough, tough ask for Pontefract today looking at that Halifax side. Can they do what Notts County, Stockport, Boreham Wood and several others have failed to do this season and beat The Shaymen? They'll have to beat a very strong Town side to do so

Pete Wild goes as strong as he can in his starting line-up then. Be in no doubt how much he is valuing a win today, no squad rotation, no run-outs for those not starting

Johnson, Warren, Maher, Debrah, Senior, Spence, Green, Slew, Warburton, Gilmour, Waters. Subs: Vale, Woods, Summerfield, Allen, Scott, Newby, McDonagh.

Expecting a strong team from PW. Wouldn’t be surprised if there’s one or two changes but I think Town will want to get this won as soon as possible today
