Staveley will be managed by Town striker Jordan Burrow, while head coach Mark Trueman will be in the Town dugout.

Trueman is targeting a place in the first round proper in this season’s competition, which would mean Town need to negotiate four games en route, starting on Wednesday.

He said: “It would be good for the club to get to the first round proper - that’s the goal we’ve set ourselves.

“But we can only take it one game at a time.

“For teams at our level the FA Youth Cup is our main target and we’re putting all our efforts into that at the moment.

“Youth teams from League One and League Two clubs enter the competition in the first round proper.

“I think we were unlucky last year. We had a good squad and the game could have gone either way.

“But the squad this year is just as good, we’ve recruited well.”
