Shaymen midfielder agrees new one-year contract

FC Halifax Town midfielder Luke Summerfield has signed a new one-year contract with the club.

Summerfield joined Town in summer 2020 from Wrexham and has been a key member of the midfield since then with his outstanding passing ability and reading of the game.

The 35-year-old was a substitute in Town’s 1-0 Wembley win over Gateshead in the FA Trophy final last month, and his experience will be vital in helping to guide a young Halifax team on the pitch next season.
