Stockport County v FC Halifax Town LIVE

I think Pete Wild’s main dilemmas for team selection would be around Niall Maher and Jack Senior - both of whom were expected to be fit enough to play. But both would be replacing players who would arguably deserve to stay in the side in Pierce Bird and Javid Swaby-Neavin. We know PW likes to reward players for decent performances by retaining them in the team, and with at least one bigger game to come in the play-offs, is it worth risking both players coming back from injury? I’d have thought we might see Maher but not Senior, but we’ll see. The rest of the team picks itself really if Kieran Green isn’t fit (Johnson, Warren, Debrah, Spence, Woods, Slew, Warburton, Gilmour and Waters)

Stockport County v FC Halifax Town

A reminder of the what-ifs today - Stockport need just a point to seal the title, but Halifax need to better Solihull’s result at Boreham Wood. If Solihull and Halifax both win, then Halifax need to win by seven clear goals to overtake them.
