Maguire, a self-employed plumber, scored 31 goals in 56 games for Spartans in the latest Evo-Stik Northern Premier season. His side just missed the play-offs, finishing sixth.

The 22-year-old has been the Supporters’ Club player of the season for the last three years and played for the England C representative side.

He has been Blyth’s top scorer for the last two seasons and part of the league’s team of the year in 2014.
