Strong Halifax side knocked out of West Riding County Cup
A strong FC Halifax Town side was knocked out of the West Riding County Cup by Ilkley Town.
Halifax took the lead in the first-half through Tom Pugh but went in level at half-time at 1-1 before Ilkley took the lead 15 minutes from the end.
Town team: Ford, Sutcliffe, Arthur, Adetoro, Sinfield, Pugh, Jenkins, Hoti, Bray, George, Costello.
Meanwhile, Town’s youth team lost 1-0 to Farsley Celtic in the FA Youth Cup in-front of 301 supporters at The Shay.
