Tadcaster Albion given long away trip in FA Vase quarter-finals

Tadcaster Albion will be on the road again on their pursuit of a Wembley date after being handed a 190-mile trip to Highworth Town in the FA Vase quarter-finals.

Albion were the last name out of the hat in Monday afternoon’s draw and were paired with the Wiltshire side.

The last eight tie will take place on February 28, with the winner progressing to a two-legged semi-final next month.

Albion reached the last eight of the national competition for the first time on Saturday when they eased past AFC Mansfield 3-0. Tadcaster have also beaten Winsford United, Morpeth Town, St Helens Town and Brocton en route to the quarter-finals.

Highworth, currently eighth in the Hellenic Premier League, progressed past Bradford Town 2-0 at the weekend.
