Here is the verdict of the Fans Panel after FC Halifax Town's 2-2 draw at Warrington in the FA Cup.

Kit Walton

Man of the match - Nathan Clarke gave everything this week, scoring a goal and marshalling our makeshift defence admirably. Someday we’ll probably find out why Matty Brown isn’t partnering him.

Moment of the match - Thank goodness Matt Kosylo spotted the Warrington player’s intended backpass, otherwise our FA Cup campaign would have been over almost before it had begun.

Moan of the match - Anyone can see we are short in central defence (see above), central midfield and centre forward. These are key positions, and I don’t understand why we persevere with players who simply aren’t good enough. The two players chosen to play up front haven’t a goal in them, yet Dayle Southwell, who looks prolific, is played far too deep, and substituted in every match.
