Lee Shaw had head professional Darren Arber to thank for guiding him towards success in Division Two of the monthly medal.

Throughout the day Arber was running a ‘Discovery Day’ for members to find out their swing data along with advising which ball is best suited to their swing speed.

Lee took advantage of this free fitting, changing his golf ball and then shooting a net 66.

Mark Sheldrake won Division One, also with a net 66. Both now move forward to the Medal Final which takes place on Saturday, September 19.

Over 120 people took part with tricky, blustery conditions providing a stern test.
