The club's charity raiser is in its 24th year and over this period funds well in excess of £100,000 has been raised and distributed.

This year the players had a relatively dry day, but commented that the course on the day ‘had some challenges’.

Also to comply with Covid restrictions and the need to be compliant the organisation on the day was a little more complex. One player openly stated: "I have enjoyed the day’s playing but the non-socialising has ensured it’s been ‘different’ to any I have played in the past."

To keep players fed and ‘watered’ they were invited to stop and take for themselves pre-prepared and wrapped snacks and drinks, kindly provided by members of The Inner Wheel Club of Halifax.
