ONLY two of Halifax's teams were in action at the weekend, with the men's second team drawing 1-1 at home to City of York IV and the fifths beaten 2-1 away to Tadcaster Magnets 2.
None of the women's sides managed a return to action, meaning Sunday action could be on the cards for some of the teams based at Park Lane High School, Exley.
Two complete programmes were wiped out before Christmas and second team skipper Simon Arch said the men's games had been rearranged for one free Saturday during the season and for a Saturday added on to the end of the campaign.
"The season has been extended by one week and any other games are now likely to be on Sundays," he said.
Arch's side were hoping to boost their Yorkshire Three promotion hopes but he conceded a draw had been a fair result.
"It was two points dropped. We would normally have expected to win but we hadn't played since November 20 and were very, very rusty," he said.
York took the lead from a short corner in the first half and later hit the post.
Halifax equalised in the second half through their man of the match Dave Willis. Sam Spencer lifted the ball from half way to the edge of the D where Willis showed skill to pull the ball out of the D and then take it back in before lobbing the advancing keeper.
